The AB 2094-BM02-S is a multi-axis servo drive that belongs to the
Kinetic 6000 series. This servo drive has been designed and
manufactured by AB. The AB 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive
operates with a voltage of 400 to 460 Volts AC and an amperage of
15 Amps. This servo drive is compatible with servo motors from the
Kinetic 6000 series. Its voltage is a 3-phase voltage and this
drive usually includes this voltage configuration with or without
the line interface nodules and the DC common bus configurations.
Prior to the installation of the AB 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo
drive, clearances should be made around the top and the bottom of
the drive in order to allow proper airflow. This is important in
order to guarantee smooth operations and prevent overheating. Its
installation cabinet depth must be a minimum of 10.7 inches. If the
drive is going to be installed in a cabinet, this cabinet should be
tall enough to fit the drive and enable it to have a ventilation
mechanism from an external cooling system.
If the AB 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive is going to be
installed in an enclosure, its unshielded cables must be kept as
short as possible and the shunt power cables must be separated from
sensitive cables. The AB 2094-BM02-S multi-axis servo drive must be
used with circuit protection. The use of a circuit breaker or a
fuse might help to maintain the drive in good condition since it
prevents the occurrence of short circuits and further abnormalities
when it comes to currents. When something goes wrong, the
power-transistor control signal is disabled, removing motor torque
