    The AB 1762-0F4 is an analog output module that weighs only 235 grams. It has 4 single-ended outputs with output times of 2.5 milliseconds. The resistive load on the current output, including wire resistance, varies between 0 and 500 ohms. The load range on voltage output is more than 1 KΩ. If it is a current output, the reactive load will be less than 0.1 mH. If the output is voltage, the reactive load will be less than 1 μF. There are two typical overall accuracies for the 1762-0F4, depending on the temperature. Between -20 and 65 degrees Celsius, the typical overall accuracy is ± 1.17% full scale. At 25 degrees Celsius, the typical overall accuracy is ± 0.5%. The typical overall accuracy includes terms for gain, offset, non-linearity, and repeatability error. The output protection value of the 1762-0F4 is ± 32 mA.


    The 1762-0F4 has a heat dissipation of only 2.8 Watts, making this a high-efficiency module. Use shielded Belden 8761 cable for this module because is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Follow ESD prevention guidelines during installation. The 1762-0F4 is meant to be mounted to a well-grounded surface such as a metal panel. Extra grounding connections from the mounting tabs or the DIN rail (if one is used) are not necessary unless the mounting surface itself cannot be grounded. The 1762-0F4 must be mounted horizontally.
