Analog and digital I/O channels are used for functions such as
control,
monitoring and measuring, for example, for measuring the motor
temperature.
The standard I/O can be extended by using analogue and digital
extension modules or
pulse encoder interface modules which are mounted in the slots on
the RMIO-01 control board.
