The AB 1756-L1M3 is a ControlLogix 5550 controller that has a user available memory of 2 Mb and an I/O memory of 150 kb. It does not have a nonvolatile memory nor an enclosure. The 1756-L1M3 controller weighs 0.36 grams or 12.7 ounces and has emissions of Group 1, Class A. This controller has a peak backplane current of 1.20 Amps at 5.1 Volts DC and 0.02 Amps at 24 Volts DC. It has an average power dissipation of 5.4 Watts and an average thermal dissipation of 18.4 BTU/hour. It also has an isolation voltage of 30 Volts. The 1756-L1M3 has been tested to withstand 500 Volts for 60 seconds. The operating temperature of the 1756-L1M3 controller ranges from 0 to 60 Degrees Celsius, while its storage temperature is from -40 to 85 Degrees Celsius. A noncondensing relative humidity of 5% to 95% exists with this controller. A vibration of the 1756-L1M3 controller is a 2.0 G maximum peak acceleration at 10 to 500 Hertz. It also has a radiated RF immunity of 10 Volts/m with 1 kilohertz sine-wave 80%AM from 30 Megahertz to 1000 Megahertz and 10 Volts/m with 200 Hertz 50% Pulse 100%AM at 900 Megahertz. Its EFT/B immunity is +/-4 kilovolts at 2.5 kilohertz on power ports and +/-2 kilovolts at 5 kilohertz on communication ports and its conducted RF immunity is 10Vrms with 1 kilohertz sine-wave 80%AM from 150 kilohertz to 80 kilohertz. The programming cables compatible with the 1756-L1M3 are the serial cable category 3 1756-CP3 and 1747-CP3 cables, while the replacement battery compatible is the 1756-BA1 0.59 lithium battery only.
