1. What is the measurement range of the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System?

A1: The measurement range is from 0.25 mm to 2.3 mm (10–90 mils) with a linear output from -1Vdc to

-17Vdc. The optimal gap setting is 1.27 mm (50 mils) at -9Vdc

for radial vibration monitoring.

2. What is the probe resistance of the system?

The probe resistance is 7.59Ω ±0.50 at 1.0 metre cable length.

3. Is the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System compatible with other 3300 series components?

Yes, each component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System

is backward compatible and interchangeable with

other non-XL 3300 series 5 and 8 mm

components.

4. Can the system be used for both static and dynamic measurements?

Yes, the system is capable of both static (position)

and dynamic (vibration) measurements.
