1. What system does this probe belong to?

The 330101-00-43-15-02-00 is part of the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer system,

which includes the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor.

2. What is the sensitivity and linear range?

The nominal sensitivity is 200 mV/mil (7.87 mV/µm) with a linear range of approximately 2.0 mm (80 mils)

when used with the matching Proximitor and specified total system length.

3. How do I know if my probe and extension cable lengths match?

Bently Nevada systems are factory calibrated as a total length (commonly 5 m or 9 m). The suffixes define

those lengths. Mixing unmatched lengths (e.g., a 1 m probe with a 7 m extension for a 5 m driver)

will change sensitivity and bias voltage and is not recommended.

4. Can I interchange a 330101 probe with other 3300 XL probes?

Only within the same family and calibrated system length. 5 mm, 8 mm, and NSv probes/drivers are not

interchangeable unless the datasheet states otherwise.
