Yes, the 21000 series housings are designed for use in various industrial settings. However, for installations in hazardous areas, Bently Nevada recommends the newer 31000/32000 series, which offer improved environmental resistance and flexible mounting options.

Q3: How do I replace the probe without disassembling the machine?

The housing assembly allows for external access to the probe and its extension cable, enabling gap adjustment or probe replacement without the need to disassemble the machine.

Q4: Is the 21000-28-05-00-040-04-02 compatible with other Bently Nevada systems?

This housing assembly is compatible with the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer system. For compatibility with other systems, refer to the specific datasheets or consult Bently Nevada support.
