Q1: Is this product suitable for hazardous locations?

A: Yes, it is explosion-proof and meets CSA and Type 4 requirements. It can be used in Class I, Division 1 and 2 hazardous environments.

Q2: What probe systems are compatible with this housing?

A: It is primarily designed for 3300 XL 8 mm and NSv probes but is also compatible with other Bently Nevada proximity systems depending on mounting requirements.

Q3: What materials are used in the housing construction?

A: The housing is made of aluminum, and the probe sleeve is constructed from 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability.

Q4: Can I customize the probe length or housing configuration?

A: Yes. The 21000 series supports customization of probe length, cable length, fitting type, and mounting thread. This specific model uses a 9.6-inch probe sleeve with a 1.0 m cable.
