“NSv” stands for Narrow Side-view, indicating that this probe is optimized for small shaft targets (less than 2 inches or 51 mm in diameter) and tight counterbore or side-view mounting configurations.

3. What is the probe’s measurement range?

The linear range is approximately 0.25 mm to 1.75 mm (10 to 70 mils), ideal for precise vibration monitoring.

4. What sensitivity does the probe provide?

The probe has a standard sensitivity of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil), consistent with Bently Nevada’s API 670 compliant systems.
